Martha 'Janie' Jane Gilbreath

Martha Jane “Janie” Gilbreath, 74, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Weatherford.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Lower Green’s Creek Cemetery in Erath County.

Janie was born on October 14, 1947 in Dublin to the late Jesse and Elle Marie Gillilan McCann. She married the love of her life, Joe on October 2, 1965 in Stephenville and together they raised two sons. Martha is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Joe Gilbreath of Stephenville; sons, Mackey Joe Gilbreath and wife Melissa of Stephenville, and Andy Gilbreath and wife Nena of Lingleville; grandchildren, Samantha Gilbreath of Tulsa, Rebecca Jones and husband Mike of Granbury, Joyann Gilbreath of Stephenville, Hayden Gilbreath and wife Paige of Lingleville, and Lexi Gilbreath of Lingleville; great-grandchild, Remi Jones; brothers, Roy Joe McCann and wife Nellie of Stephenville, and Danny Earl McCann; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and many brothers, and sisters.
