Martha Cleo Jones

Martha Cleo Jones passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Stephenville Texas at the age of 82. Martha was born on February 23, 1941 in Stephenville, Texas to Jack D. Jones and Susie Diffee Jones. She lived her whole life in Stephenville. After graduating high school she went on to take some college courses but then went on to start working. She worked as the assistant business manager at Tarleton for 30 years before retiring in 1990. Martha attended church at Cowboy Church of Erath County. Martha enjoyed quilting.  She belonged to the Town N Country Quilt Guild.

Survivors include her sisters Mary A. Jones, and Bonnie Pack Watkins, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by both of her parents as well as a sister, Winnie Stem. Martha’s service will be a graveside service at West End Cemetery on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. and visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Stephenville Funeral Home. A special thanks to Lonestar Rehabilitation and Wellness and CCS Hospice for the care give to Martha.  Memorials may be made to your charity of choice.
