Scott Lindsey, 65 of Stephenville, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Stephenville.
Memorial services for Scott will be held at 6:30 PM Monday, June 3rd at Abiding Life Fellowship Church at 205 W. Summit in Comanche, TX with Rick Griffith officiating.
Scott was born on March 5, 1954 in Levelland, TX to James Marshall Lindsey and Ruby Louise Burch. He married Phylis Ann Hays, on May 13, 1972 in Woodland, California. Scott spent many years of his life as a carpenter and home inspector. He spent many years remodeling homes, churches, and schools. Scott attended the Johnsville Church of Christ, and has lived several years in Stephenville.
Scott is survived by his wife, Ann; son, Matt and wife Ashley Lindsey of Comanche, daughter, Christal and husband Glen Powell of Comanche; mother, Ruby; sisters Sheila and husband Jack Reagon of Stephenville, Karoline and husband Paul Mantz of Stephenville, Katherine Hullum of Georgetown, TX, Debbie and husband Billy Sellers of Denver City, TX, Carol Berryman of Arlington, TX, and Linda Baldwin of San Angelo, TX; and his lovely grandchildren.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, James M. Lindsey; his second mother, Phyllis R. Lindsey, sisters, Rhonda Henry and Kathy Harris; nephew, Shawn Smith; and brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and niece, Kirk and Marsha Lindsey and Hayley Lindsey
