Marjorie Hodge Oliver

Marjorie Hodge Oliver, 90, of Granbury, passed away Saturday December 25, 2010 in Granbury. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Oakdale United Methodist Church in Stephenville with Rev. Steve Holston and Rev. Bill McMullen officiating. Interment will follow at the Lower Greens Creek Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Marjorie was born on September 16, 1920 in Rice, Texas to the late William and Eva Bell Hodge. She married Jerry Oliver on December 10, 1939 in Dallas. She has resided in Granbury since 1987 after previously living in Dallas. Marjorie worked in Sales for Sears-Roebuck. She was a Methodist. She is survived by her husband Jerry Oliver of Granbury; Children, Laurel Kennedy and husband Bill of Granbury, Sharon Coffin and husband John of Oak Harbor, WA., Elaine Koch and husband Jeff of Lexington, KY., and Bruce Oliver and wife Annette of Gun Barrell City, TX.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony Vallot, Jr. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1004 7th Ave Fort Worth, Texas 76104.
