Marilyn "Ma" (Merrell) Owens

Marilyn "Ma" Owens January 16, 1938 - November 8, 2015 Marilyn "Ma" Owens, 77, of Stephenville, died Sunday November 8, 2015 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 11th at Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial will be at McAdams Cemetery at 2:00 PM in Graford. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Marilyn was born on January 16, 1938 in Graham to the late J. B. and Vada Lee Blankenship Merrell. She married Terry Dean Owens, on September 8, 1956 in Stephenville. Terry preceded her in death on September 12, 1998. Marilyn attended Valley Grove Baptist Church, and was active in her the churches she attended. She lived several years in Possum Kingdom and Stephenville. She was a homemaker. Marilyn is survived by her children, Paula and husband Mike Turnbow of Springtown, Tommy and wife Sue Owens of Stephenville, Dianna Robison and friend Richard Johnson of Independence, Kansas, and Pam and husband J. B. McGinty of Burleson; grandchildren, Curtis, Christopher, Melissa, Jason, Jennifer, Brent, Jamie, and Tiffany; sister, Charlotte Dudding; and brothers, Truman Burnett and Rusty Burnett. The family wishes donation to be made to the charity of donor's choice.
