Marilyn Melton Mclain

Marilyn Melton McLain, 70, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Oak Dale Cemetery with Shannon Grubbs officiating. Marilyn was born on January 30, 1941 in Fort Worth to the late Clarence and Bertha Melton. She married George McLain on January 18, 1985 in Berryville, Virginia. Marilyn has resided in Stephenville since 2005 after previously living in Virginia. She was an officer for the C.I.A. and was a member of the First Christian Church. Marilyn is survived by her husband, George McLain of Stephenville; brother, Tom Melton of Fort Worth; sister, Louise Herr of North Dakota; step-son, David McLain of Virginia; step-daughter, Diane Skillicorn of Virginia; she is also survived by her step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
