Maria Victoria Martinez

Maria Victoria Martinez (Vicky), age 71,  left this Earth to return home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2024, in Stephenville, TX.

Vicky was born in Torreon Coah. Mexico, on February 25, 1952 to Parents Manuel and Juanita Martinez, She married Victor Martinez on April 19, 1977 in Mexico and were happily married for 46 years. They moved to Stephenville in 1992 where they made a life and raised their three children. Vicky was a devoted Baptist, her love for God and her family, cooking and music were incomparable. She loved helping those in need, her way of showing love was through her food and conversation, she gave the best advice and was always there to lend an ear.

Vicky was a homemaker that spent all her free time focused on her family, whom she dearly loved until her last breath.  She was a light to those she met and her Family truly loved her dearly.  Vicky will be greatly missed by her Family and friends, she was truly loved by anyone that was lucky enough to have crossed her life path. She was big hearted, vibrant and radiated light.  They will not soon forget her laughter, love for Family and life, as well as the many shared fond memories.  Even at the end she found a way to smile and laugh, her love for her Family and music never diminished.

Survivors include her husband, Victor Martinez of Stephenville; children; Victor Martinez, Jr. and wife, Zaida  of Dallas; Eber Martinez and wife, Ruby of Stephenville; and Elizabeth Martinez of Ft. Worth.  Grandchildren Victor & Jose Martinez.  Xavian, Kendra and Ian Martinez

She was preceded in death by her Daughter Wendolin, parents  Manuel and Juanita Martinez  and Brother Lorenzo Martinez.

Celebration of life service will be held at Stephenville Funeral Home on February 24th at 10:00am.
