Margie Evelyn Davis Weldon May 12, 1932 ~ May 27, 2017 Margie Evelyn Weldon, 85, of Cypress, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Cypress. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Weldon Branham officiating. Burial will follow at Hico Cemetery in Hico. Visitation will begin at Noon on Wednesday, May 31st. Margie was born on May 12, 1932 in Stephenville to the late Carter and Estelle Slade Davis. She married James William Weldon on November 21, 1951. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1999. Margie was raised in Erath County, and had lived the last several years in Cypress. She spent her time working in a floral shop, and was a homemaker. Margie is survived by her daughters, Lanett and husband Jeff Rowan of Hempstead, and Donna and husband Gary Wilson of Cypress; son, Kenneth Weldon of Cypress; grandchildren, Jeffrey Rowan, Bradley Rowan, Haley Campbell, and Reese Weldon; great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Sydney, and Jackson Rowan; sisters, Juanita and husband James Hawkins of Seminole and Nona and husband Jackie Williamson of Stephenville. Besides her parents and husband, Margie was also preceded in death by a brother, Henry Davis; and a sister, Etta Henderson
