Margaret Harris

Margaret Harris, 100, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in Stephenville. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Round Grove Cemetery in Erath County with David Harris officiating. Margaret was born on March 15, 1907 in Comyn, Texas to the late William Allen and Birdie Lena Reeves Dickey. She married S.E. Harris on December 25, 1926 in Comyn, and he preceded her in death on January 29, 1972. Margaret has resided in Stephenville since 1969 after previously living in California. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Stephenville. Survivors include: a daughter, Lawannah Allred of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Mickey Dean Harris; a daughter, Charlotte Griffin; a sister; and two brothers.
