Maggie Osborne

Maggie Osborne 89, passed away June 29, 2012 in Abilene, Texas. Services will be held Monday July 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Graham Street Church of Christ with Don Parker officiating. Interment will be at Sturdivant Cemetery, Palo Pinto County. Visitation will be Sunday July 1, 2012 from 6-8pm at Stephenville Funeral Home. Maggie was born to the late Edgar and Mabel Johnson in Johnson City, Texas. She married Orpheus Osborne on July 7, 1951 at Abilene, Texas and he preceded her in death in 2009. Maggie worked for Bell telephone as a switch board operator as well as Book Keeper, Educator and home maker. Maggie is survived by a daughter, Orpha Denise Linton and Husband Nick of Willcox AZ: a son, David Osborne and wife Judy of Abilene, TX: step daughter, Betty Altum and step grandson, Todd Altum of Abilene, TX: granddaughters, Milena Osborne of Abilene, TX: Sarah McGeath of Sierra Vista, AZ: as well as many beloved nieces and nephews: grand nieces and grand nephews and precious great grand nieces and great grand nephews.
