Madge Lanelle Ramsay

Madge LaNelle Ramsay, 76, of Stephenville, passed Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in Fort Worth. She is finally home and face to face with Christ her Savior. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 16th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Buddy Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Madge was born on November 15, 1938 in Northville, Michigan to the late Frank Leslie and Maude Huckabay Luttrall. She grew up in Michigan and in the Oak Dale Community in Erath County, and attended Stephenville High School. She also attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Madge was a Southern Baptist and a clerical worker. Madge is survived by two sons, Andrew Ramsay and Scott Ramsay, both of Stephenville; grandchildren, James Robert, Thomas Edward, Keegan Marie and Kylee Tate Ramsay; nieces, Sharon Gardner of Dallas, Melody Martinez of San Antonio, Cindy Pauling of San Marcos, and Laura Traub of Leander; nephews, Gene Stewart of Georgetown, Todd Luttrall of San Antonio, Robert George Ramsay of McKinney, and Glenn Ramsay. Besides her parents, Madge was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Ramsay in 1967; a brother, Don Luttrall; a sister, Darlene Dougherty; and a nephew, Stephen Ramsay of Stephenville. The Ramsay family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
