Lynn Holden October 10, 1939 - February 5, 2018 Lynn Holden, 78, of Dublin, died Monday, February 5, 2018, in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 8th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Chad Nicholson, officiating. Burial will follow at New Dublin Live Oak Cemetery. A visitation for Mr. Holden will be held at Stephenville Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 7, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Lynn was born on October 10, 1939 in Comanche to the late B. C. and Linda Thompson Holden. He married Carolyn Colborn on January 2, 1965 in Dublin. She preceded him in death on April 9, 1999. Lynn was a rancher, and served during Korea and Vietnam in the U. S. Army. He served as a past president of the Jaycees, and supported and worked with students in FFA. He has lived the past 53 years in Dublin. Survivors include his son, Timothy Holden of Dublin; daughter, Elizabeth and husband Trey Bell of Mineral Wells; granddaughter, Colby Jo Bell of Mineral Wells; brother, Eddie and wife Pat Holden of Comanche; sisters, Ginger Shafer of Andrews and Brona Lou Brown of Coleman; and companion, Dorothy Miller of Dublin.
