Lurline Nuckols

Lurline Nuckols, 68, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in Cleburne. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday January 3, 2009 at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery Chapel in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Lurline was born March 3, 1940 in Sydney, Texas to the late Joe and Daisy Fielder Runkle. She married Kenneth Nuckols on December 25, 1955 in Fort Worth. Lurline has resided in Erath County since 1965 and was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church in Stephenville. Lurline and Kenneth previously owned and operated a recycling center. Lurline is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Nuckols of Stephenville; children, Richard Nuckols and wife Tana of Stephenville, Earlene Ramirez and husband Emeterio of Stephenville, John Nuckols of Joshua, Edward Nuckols and wife Lynda of Crowley, and Michael Nuckols and wife Krystal of Waco; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Hyman Runkle of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Thomas Runkle
