Lucille Moon

Lucille Moon, 82,of Lingleville passed away Thursday,February 14, 2013 in Stephenville. Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Lingleville East End Cemetery in Lingleville, Texas. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Lucille was born to the late Porter Whitefield and Maude Wood on June 23, 1930 in Lingleville. She married Delton Moon on December 1, 1950 in Stephenville and he preceded her in death on August 30, 1991. The couple lived in Odessa from 1952-1972, then moved back to Lingleville and owned a Dairy. Lucille attended Cowboy Church of Erath County. Lucille is survived by her son, Ricky Moon of Lingleville; daughter, Brenda and husband Will Haggard of Stephenville; granddaughter Melissa Taylor and husband Chase of Lawrence, Kansas; grandson, Sam Moon of Stephenville; granddaughters, Katy Berry, Emmy Hooper and husband Zack of Stephenville; step-granddaughter Kassie Haggard of Stephenville; great-granddaughters Jaedyn and Kamryn Berry of Stephenville. Memorial may be made to Foster's Home for Children or West Texas Rehab.
