Lucille (Pack) Bills

Lucille Bills, 90, passed away on October 6,2024, at Lone Star Nursing Home and Rehabilitation. She was born on July 28, 1934, in Stephenville, Texas, to Calvin Houston and Cecil Jo (Jones) Pack. She lived in Stephenville her whole life. After graduating from high school on August 18, 1951, she married the love of her life, R. C. Bills, and had a happy life with him until his passing on February 14, 2013.   In 1960, the couple began a life of service to others through working as Relief and House parents at Fosters Home for Children. Later Lucille worked as Development Staff and a Social Worker for a total of 38 years at the same agency in Stephenville.  Upon retirement, she began a new career for CCS Hospice as a Social Worker at age 67, until retirement at 81. She was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ.

Lucille is survived by her children, Vickie Russell (Jimmy) of Lubbock, Roy Bills (Karen) of Stephenville, and Danny Bills of Stephenville, her grandchildren, Valarie Russell, Jennifer Russell (Kris), Brandon Bills (Dusty), Britten Meador (Jeramie), Bret Bills (Kasha), and Scarlett Bills, her great-grandchildren, Caleb, McKenna, Cora, Kaden, Braelyn, Claire, Norah, Tucker, Livie, Trinity, Kennedy, Tiffany, and Lucille's sister, Rudene Adams.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Bills, both of her parents, and her brothers, Earnest Pack, Steve Pack, and Dennis Pack.

A service for Lucille will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2 P.M. at Stephenville Funeral Home with a graveside to follow at East End Lingleville. A visitation will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 6 P.M.-8 P.M. at Stephenville Funeral Home.
