Loy Marie (Welch) Lindsey

Loy Marie Lindsey August 27, 1936 - October 23, 2017 Loy Marie Lindsey, 81, of Stephenville, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 in Burleson. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Sap Oak Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Loy was born on August 27, 1936 in Bridgeport, Texas to the late J.D. Welch and Etta Pauline Lehmberg. She worked for many years as a banker for Texas Commerce Bank in Dallas. She married Doyle Lindsey in January of 2000 in Stephenville and together they have resided in Erath County for the past 17 years. She was a member of the Lutheran church, Missouri Synod. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Doyle Lindsey of Stephenville; sons, Audy Snodgrass and wife Hong of Oklahoma, Jerry Don Snodgrass and wife Jeanie of Granbury, and Bobby Wayne Genter of Granbury; daughters, Vicki Lynn Houghton and husband Lloyd of Irving, Paula De La Cruz and husband Hugo of Carrollton, and Michelle Rene Graham of Lewisville; brother, Raymond P. Garner of Stephenville; an aunt, Ruth Tongate and husband Jack of Mineral Wells; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Etta Pauline Garner, and Raymond Garner.
