Louise Turley

Louise Turley, 86, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in Abilene. Services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 10 to 11 AM Friday prior to the service. Louise was born on February 6, 1927 to the late Tim and Myrtle Johnson in Stephenville. She married Darvin Turley on May 1, 1954 in the Selden community. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2011. Louise worked for Bell Telephone as an operator and Kmart as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Selden Baptist Church and Cowboy Church of Erath County. Louise was a member of the Stephenville community for over 54 years. Louise is survived by her daughter, Taressa Huey and husband Tony of Abilene; granddaughter, Kristi Johnson and husband Josef of Abilene; grandson Monty Turley of Stephenville; granddaughter Neely Turley of Stephenville; great granddaughters, Lexi Johnson, Victoria and Vanessa Turley; sister, Anna Dora Dickinson. Louise was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Turley and a sister Glenda Wright.
