Louise Grundy

Louise Grundy, 89, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Goolsby officiating. Interment will follow at Hannibal Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Louise was born on November 7, 1922 in Trenton, Texas to the late Willie Harvey and Epsy Oleta Ooten Nolan. She married J. M. "Pete" Grundy July 11, 1939 in Marietta, Oklahoma. Louise was a seamstress and a member of Harvey Baptist Church. She resided in Arlington before moving to Stephenville 11 years ago. Louise is survived by her husband of 72 years J. M. "Pete" Grundy; sons J. D. and wife Cledith Grundy of Brownwood, Donnie and wife Sonya Grundy of Grand Prairie; daughters Carolyn Dunn of Arlington, Vickie and husband Lee Little of Stephenville; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Food Bank of Harvey Baptist Church.
