Louis Talamantez

Louis Talamantez, 63, of Stephenville passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Ed Dittfurth officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Louis will be cremated. Louis was born on October 30, 1950 to the late Eleda Talamantez in Tahoka, Texas. He married Paula Sue Hancock on June 11, 1971 in Kaufman. She preceded him in death on May 29, 1997. Louis worked in construction and had lived in the Stephenville community for 24 years. Louis is survived by a daughter, Tina Talamantez of Stephenville; a son, Michael Talamantez and wife Rebeca of Stephenville; grandchildren, Amber Talamantez, Robert and Erica Stroman, Victor Martinez, Desiree and Christine Casey, Mykinnley, Gabriel and Maddox Talamantez; great grandchildren, Madyson Davis and Aiken Mori. Louis was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tressa Talamantez and mother in-law, Altena Hancock.
