Lois Eileen Payne

Lois Eileen Payne, 99, of Mesquite, formerly of Stephenville, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Mesquite. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at West End Cemetery in Stephenville. Lois was born on March 31, 1913 in Indian Gap, Texas to the late Enoch and Iona Corey Spivey. She married John Otis Payne, July 5, 1936 in Fort Worth. He preceded her in death, May 28, 1980. She was a homemaker and teacher, and had lived the past several years in Mesquite. Lois is survived by a daughter, Sherrie Payne of Mesquite; and a son, Terry and wife Janice Payne of Watauga, and her grandsons, Terry Ben and wife Teodora Payne and Troy and wife Angela Payne; great grandchildren, Justyn Gilliam, MaKenzee Payne, Tiarra Payne, Terry Payne, Tucker Payne, and Tierney Payne.
