Lillie Dunson

Lillie Dunson, 70, of Stephenville, died Friday, June 6, 2014 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 10th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Hannah officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Lillie was born on July 15, 1943 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to the late Henry and Bobbie Armijo Alderete. She married Claud Dunson on November 19, 1966. He preceded her in death August 22, 1986. Lillie was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church, and worked several years in food service at Tarleton State University. She has lived in Stephenville since 1980. Survivors include her son, Roy and wife Diane Dunson of Stephenville; daughters, Sharon and husband Shad Parum of Selden, Judy and husband Tony Hemphill of Stephenville, Ruby and husband Breck Rogers also of Stephenville; grandchildren, T. C. Lucus, Jamie and Don Lee Cox, Gary and wife Edalia Tamez, Matt Tamez, Kayla Hemphill, Angela and husband Chris Stark, and Kelly and Cody Rogers; great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Jada, Neal, Kason, and Mariah; brothers, Selestino, Jimmy, and Benny Alderete; and sister, Rosie Kitterman; and dear friends, Marie Ogan and Joey Brown Besides her parents, and husband, Lillie was also preceded in death by a brother, Henry Alderete
