Lettie Lillian Wood

Lettie Lillian Wood, precious and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away in her home Thursday, September 27, 2007 in Morgan Mill, Texas at the age of 92. She was born June 10, 1915 to John Lee and Johnnie Phine McDonald in Palo Pinto County, Texas. She and Robert Lee Wood were married September 4, 1932 in Morgan Mill, Texas. They were married 62 years when he preceded her in death on February 5, 1994. She is survived by daughter, Bettye Jean and husband Ben Jones; daughter, Frances Lawrence; daughter, Joyce Wood; Grandchildren, Ben Jones, Jr., Lee Jones, Pam Vitez, Kenneth Harris, Charles Harris, Michael Pope, Michelle Titsworth, Doris Collins, and Joe Pope. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2007 in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Porter and Rev. Joe Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at the Morgan Mill Cemetery in Morgan Mill, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the Stephenville Funeral Home.
