Leslie Lynn Thetford-Clack

November 27, 1967 – January 16, 2021

The Thetford family will greet friends on Friday, January 22 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home, 120 West South Loop, Stephenville, TX 76401.

Leslie Lynn Thetford-Clack, age 53, passed away at her home in Stephenville, Texas on January 16, 2021. She was born on November 27, 1967, in Bryan, Texas to Hoppy and Jane (Littleton) Thetford.  Leslie was a 1986 graduate from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, and a 2002 Collin College graduate earning a place as an honors student and dean’s list recipient.  She was an EMS coordinator at Collin College Fire School in McKinney for over 20 years, and always held the fire service close to heart.

Prior to relocating to Stephenville, Leslie was the founder and president of the Angel League, a nonprofit sports league for special needs children. This endeavor paved the way for similar programs across Texas. In addition, she was involved in Collin County 4-H, McKinney FFA, and elementary PTO. Leslie was also a proponent of M.E.N.D, an organization to support mothers who had suffered early infant death.

Leslie lived life to the fullest and had an uncanny ability to make people smile through her “bling-bling – makeup – perfume – hair-never-out-of-place spirit!” Some of her favorite times were with her three sons, country music and dancing, livestock shows, lifelong friends, and the Fightin’ Texas Aggies.

Survivors include her sons, Randall Dillion Ward (28) of Plano; Justin McCade Clack (16) of Stephenville; Luke Cartwright Clack (11) of Stephenville; parents, Hoppy and Jane (Littleton) Thetford; brothers, William Hank and wife Susan Thetford of New Braunfels, and Brett and wife Sara Thetford of Stephenville; husband, Jason Clack of McKinney, and many nieces and nephews.

Leslie is preceded in death by infant daughter, Kaitlynn Ray Clack.

In lieu of flowers, please memorialize through donations to the Stephenville Kiwanis Club or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
