Leslie Lee Mills January 17, 1951-July 13, 2016 Leslie Lee Mills, 65, of Oran, TX, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 16th at Cowboy Church of Erath County with Jay Mills and Kenneth Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Johnsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Leslie was born on January 17, 1951 in Stephenville to Vernon and Marilyn Giesecke Mills. He married Alice Kay Cornelius on January 22, 1969 in Mexico. Leslie served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells and had resided in Oran since 1982. Leslie was a heavy equipment operator/superintendent. Survivors include his wife, Kay; daughters, Shirley McEwen, Melinda Wells, and Mary Self and husband Caleb; grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Kaleb, Tyler, Raiden, and Carson; mother, Marilyn Mills Ewers; brothers, Jerry Mills and wife Laverne, Jay Mills and wife Debbie, Randy Mills and wife Sharon, and Kenneth Mills and wife Donna Mills; sister, Linda Fulton and husband Charles; and several nieces and nephews. Leslie was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Mills, in 1992.
