Leona Eileen (Bray) Bearden

Leona Eileen (Bray) Bearden, 74, passed away at her home in Dublin, on September 16, 2024. She was born on September 27, 1949, in Clayton, New Mexico, to Otis Bray and Dorothy Geneva (Stevenson) Bray. After finishing high school, she married the love of her life, Johnny Bearden on September 28, 1968, in Amarillo, Texas. They later settled in the Erath County area. She worked as an office manager for Cactus Feed Yard for many years.

Leona is survived by her husband, Johnny, her sons, Clay Bearden and his wife, Dawn, and Brook Bearden and his wife, Tara, granddaughter, Bridget Bearden, her sister, Geneva Cockrell, as well as her brother, Gary Bray.

Leona is preceded in death by both of her parents, and her brother Bryan Bray.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Stephenville Funeral Home 120 W South Loop Stephenville, Texas 76401 with officiating minister, Ken Bray.
