Leon Rasberry

Leon Rasberry April 21, 1940 - July 12, 2018 Leon Rasberry, 78, of Stephenville, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, July 14th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lingleville West End Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:30, (one hour) prior to services. Leon was born on April 21, 1940 in Morgan Mill to the late Paul and Artie Beatrice Heathcoat Rasberry. He married Jaunita (Rowdy) Rasberry on October 26, 1962 in Stephenville. Rowdy preceded him in death on April 17, 2016. Leon was a member of the Lingleville Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Erath County. He owned and operated Rasberry Service Center for many years. Leon is survived by a son, Dewayne and wife Marsha Stephens of Stephenville; daughters, Alemeda and husband Kenny Kidd of Sweetwater, and Connie and husband Mark Frank of Stephenville; grandchildren, Kyle and wife Mecca Stephens, Kevin and wife Allisha Stephens, Sonya and husband Jerry Wayne Stuart, Shawn and wife Becky Kidd, Kristie Frank, and Logan wife Julia Frank; great grandchildren, Sydney, Summer, Justin, Payton, Grady, Reece, and Jacob; brothers, Frank and wife Judy Rasberry of Bedford, and Wes and wife Carol Rasberry of Morgan Mill; sister, Virginia and husband Floyd Fincannon of Morgan Mill. Besides his parents, and wife, Rowdy; Leon was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Rasberry
