Leon Humberson

Leon Humberson, 80, of Stephenville, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012. Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2012 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Weldon Branham officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville. Leon was born November 16, 1932 to the late Donald W. and Mildred L. Richardson Humberson in Stephenville. He married Frances Lingle on September 15, 1951. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2004. Leon was a lifelong resident of Stephenville and a US Army veteran. He worked for Kroger as a store manager for many years. Survivors include his grandsons, Jared Humberson and Tyler Humberson; daughter in-law, Tammy Humberson all of Arlington; nephew Terry Humberson of Stephenville. Leon was preceded in death by his son Kirby Humberson and brother Charles Humberson.
