Leola Mae Mathis

Stephenville Leola Mae Mathis, 81, of Stephenville passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Wiliford officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger. Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Leola Mae was born on October 19, 1929 in Ranger to the late John and Martha Brazil Ussery. She married Paul Mathis on July 16, 1950 in Ranger. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2000. Leola Mae was a homemaker and has resided in Stephenville since 1999. Leola Mae is survived by a daughter, Paula McCoy of Stephenville; grandchildren, Tara Hayworth of Stephenville; Sharay Hicks and husband Mike of Dublin, and Amanda Richards and husband Dale of Stephenville; ten great-grandchildren, Kelsey Wade; Matthew Wade; Michael Wade; Morgan Wade; Brodie Cahoon; Jordyn Hicks; Kenadee Richards; Zoe Richards; Chassidy Richards, and McKenna Richards; a sister, Frances Brantley of Houston, and several nieces and nephews.
