Lena Faye "Lee" Deaver

Lena Faye "Lee" Deaver, 83, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday June 18, 2013 at Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home Lena Faye was born on February 23, 1930 in Stephenville to the late Calvert Emmett and Martha Jane Strickland Walker. She worked several years under three Erath County District Attorneys as a legal secretary, and work a few years at the University Texas Permian Basin. Lena was deeply religious in her Baptist faith, enjoying playing the piano and serving people. She was a lifelong resident of Stephenville. Survivors include her sons, Steve Deaver of Austin and David Deaver of Austin; daughter, LeAnn and husband Kevin Jones and their son, Jordan Jones of Stephenville; and daughter, Martha Jane and husband Rusty Cavett and their family, Paige and Bryne and great grandchild Jeremy Stinnett; sister-in-laws, Shirley Deaver Semler and Sharon Deaver Brown both of Houston; cousins, J. D. and Jerry Walker both of Stephenville. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Ted R. Deaver in 2006; and by three brothers, Elbridge, Eugene, and Tommy Walker.
