Larry Gene Martin

Larry Gene Martin, 59, of Stephenville, died Monday, August 3, 2009, in Dallas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Marvin Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at East Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Larry was born, August 20, 1949, in Cameron to Omar and Dorothy Cantrell Martin. He married Barbara Kuhlman, May 15, 1999, in Proctor. Larry was a U. S. Army veteran. He has lived in Erath County for the past 11 years; moving here from Comanche County. Larry was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; children, Shane, April, Gary, and Crystal; brothers, Wayne Martin of Blum, and Bobby Martin of Arlington; and nine grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother, Mike.
