Morgan Mill Lanora Baker, 83, of Morgan Mill, died Thursday, October 14, 2010 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Morgan Mill Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Rogers officiating. Burial: Morgan Mill Cemetery in Morgan Mill. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Lanora was born on July 18, 1927 in Roscoe, Texas to the late Joseph E. and Zelma Mae Daily Woodard. She married R.O. Baker on January 18, 1946 in Seminole. He preceded her in death in 2004. Lanora was a member of Morgan Mill Baptist Church. She has resided in Erath County for the last 23 years moving here from West Texas. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters, Renee Chapman and husband Randal of Morgan Mill; Carolyn Newman of Santa Fe, NM; Barbara Hayes of Austin; brothers, Raymond Woodard of Seminole and Edd Woodard of Denver City; grandchildren, Shayne Baker; Chelsea Johnson and husband Michael; Cayla Chapman. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Loralyn Rae Baker and Regina Williams, a son, Ross Baker and a grandson, Kendall Baker. .
