Lanetta Mccoy

Lanetta McCoy, 87, of De Leon, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 in De Leon. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 27th at Morgan Mill Cemetery with Mark Allison officiating. Services are under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Lanetta was born on February 5, 1927 in Electra, Texas to L. E. and Lola McCann Dresslar. She was a hairdresser, owning her own salon, a member of the Church of Christ, and a resident of this area for the last 45 years. Lanetta is survived by her daughter, Denyse Turner and husband Mike; son, Leon McCoy and wife Diane; sister, Patsy Rogers; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lanetta was preceded in death by her son, Pat McCoy; great-granddaughter, Savvy McCoy; and her two sisters, Arlu Trice and Bessie Faye Allison.
