L. M. ‘Bud' DuValle, 68, of Lingleville, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Fort Worth Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday at Lingleville Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Lowell Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Bud was born on March 5, 1943 in Quitman, Mississippi to the late Howard Eugene and Inez McLemore DuValle. He attended Lingleville Baptist Church, and had lived the past 3 years in Lingleville; moving there from Cresson where he lived 25 years. Bud retired after 30 years with General Motors, and had worked several years with Landstar Trucking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cleta G. Penniston DuValle. Survivors include his brothers, Dante and wife Pricilla DuValle of Lingleville and Howard Eugene and wife Ruth DuValle of Austin; sisters, Jean and husband Donnie Hayworth of Tolar, Bernice and husband David White of Weatherford, Marie DuValle of Mt. Vernon, Washington, and Linda and husband Bob Townsend of Chattanooga, Tennessee; step-daughter, Danye and husband David Hooper of Mineral Wells; daughters, Rhonna and husband Hayden Hollis of Caldwell and Robbye and husband Billy Morsko of Austin; son, Randy and wife Linda DuValle of Caldwell; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Bud was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles DuValle Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Lingleville Baptist Church.
