Kenneth Ray Hook

Kenneth Ray Hook, 81, of Stephenville, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, in Stephenville

Graveside services for Kenneth will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 6th at Smith Spring Cemetery with Ronnie Quarles officiating.

Kenneth was born on November 19, 1941 in Stephenville, to the late Charlie Jacob and Golda Marie Stafford Hook.  He married Delma Jean Shelton on June 5, 1963 in Granbury.  Kenneth served his country in the U. S. Navy in the early 60s, and he spent over 37 years with the U. S. Postal service in Stephenville.  He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Delma Jean; children, Sheila and husband Mike McNickle, Kevin Ray and wife Leann Hook, and Jason Craig and wife Rachel Hook; sisters, Joyce McDonald and Sharron Rainey; grandchildren, Hailey Keating, Courtney Keating, Kody and wife Hannah Hook, Karson and wife Taryn Hook, Brandon Griffin, Emily Hook, Jaxon McNickle, and David McNickle; and great grandchild Margaret Elizabeth Hook; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his parents, Kenneth was also preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Lane.

The Hook family wishes to thank Dr. Jeffrey Moore, staff of Stephenville Nursing and Rehab, and CCS Hospice for the care that they gave to their father.

The Hook family also wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Erath County Humane Society.
