Kathy Wakefield

Kathy Wakefield, 60, of Stephenville, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday at Pony Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00 PM, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Kathy was born on November 29, 1949 in El Campo, Texas to the late John and Edith Pustovjsky Kalisek. She married Perry Wakefield on April 12, 1969 in Midland. Kathy grew up in Midland, and has spent the past 30 years in Erath County. She was a member of the Catholic faith, and was very active in the Boy Scouts of America with her two sons. Kathy was a cafeteria manager for the Stephenville ISD. Survivors include her husband, Perry; children, Butch of Bluff Dale, Becky of Stephenville, and Andy of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Beverly Boyd of Hempstead; brothers, John Wayne Kalisek of Escondido, California and Phillip Kalisek of Midland; several nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony ‘Rusty' Kalisek. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Boy Scouts of America.
