Kathleen Pearcy Watson

Kathleen Pearcy Watson, 87, of Bluff Dale, Texas, passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 in Granbury, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bluff Dale. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Kathleen was born on March 24, 1920 in Bluff Dale to the late Uel and Edith Hancock Pearcy. She married James Watson on March 18, 1937 in Fort Worth, and he preceded her in death on December 11, 2001. Kathleen has resided in Bluff Dale all of her life. She was a member of the Bluff Dale Baptist Church and the Bluff Dale Garden Club. She is survived by two sons, Bill Watson of Bluff Dale, Danny Watson and wife Debby of Bluff Dale; daughter Shirley Sumrow and husband Freddie of Granbury; brother, Uel Pearcy, Jr. of Bluff Dale; grandchildren, Stephen Harrell, Mark Harrell, Marla Jennings, Julie Watson, and Kimberly Hawpe; great-grandchildren, Matthew Harrell; Michael Harrell, Ryan Ahl, Nikki Harrell, Jarrod Jennings, and Halen Hawpe. Memorials may be made to the Bluff Dale Baptist Church.
