Judith Ann (Jones) Spicer

Judith Ann Jones Spicer passed away in Gilbert, Arizona October 21, 2021.  She was born May 1, 1939 in San Angelo, Texas to John Irvine Jones and Martha Jane Axtell Jones.  She is a former resident of Stephenville and Magna Cum Laude graduate of Tarleton.

Judith Ann is preceded in death by her dad, John Irvine Jones (1945); mother, Martha Jane (1995); husband Roland Perry ‘Buddy’ Spicer (2011) and daughter, Krista Jane (1967).

She is survived by her children John I. Spicer, Ethel Jeneen Edgmon (Mitchell), Kyle Jack Spicer (Lora), her granddaughters Rio and Ella Edgmon, siblings Tip Finley, Jill Henderson and Jean Russell.

Her friendliness, compassion, talents, knowledge of the scriptures, testimony of Christ, and her example of integrity will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral and visitation will be in Stephenville, Texas at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints on Saturday, October 30, 2021.  Visitation will be at 10:00 AM and the funeral at 11:00 AM.  Bishop Jacob A. Heller will be officiating at the funeral service, and burial will follow at Lingleville East End Cemetery in Lingleville.
