Jose Armando Castillo

Jose Armando Castillo, 24, passed away on December 14, 2024, in Stephenville, Texas. He was born on March 25, 2000, in Stephenville, Texas, to Fortunato Castillo and Maria Guadalupe Canales. He was a life-long resident of Stephenville, Texas, graduating from Stephenville High School where he played soccer, and working for Saint Gobain as a machinist.

Jose was an athlete while at SHS playing soccer and running track. He had a huge passion for crypto, soccer, and loved being on the field with his friends, family, and whoever else would be there.

Two of his brothers recently graduated from Stephenville High School in 2023 and 2024 and the other two are still in school and one is in the 8th grade (a sister) and the youngest (a baby brother) in 3rd grade.

He was loved by so many and one of the best people you could’ve ever known. He was the best big brother to his siblings, one of the best sons, grandsons, nephews, cousins, and so much more.

This precious family needs all the help, prayers, and condolences more than anything, right now.

Jose is survived by his father, Fortunato Castillo, his siblings, Jorge Castillo, Jared Castillo, Jimena Castillo, Javier Castillo, the family cats, Julio and Jeff.

Jose is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Canales, and grandfather, Jose Luis Canales.

The Castillo family will receive visitors at the Stephenville Funeral Home all day Thursday, December 19, 2024. A Graveside Service will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Elias Maldonado officiating
