Jonell Holmans

Jonell Ward Holmans, 81, of Stephenville, died Friday, April 04, 2014 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 7th at West End Cemetery with David Harris officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Jonell was born on October 16, 1932 in Hico to the late Ben Ford and Leone L. Mackey Ward. She was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ, and former member of the Professional Business Women's Assn. Jonell has lived in Stephenville for the past 35 years moving here from Fort Worth. Prior to moving to Fort Worth, she lived many years in San Antonio. Jonell was an accountant. Jonell is survived by her son, Anthony and wife LaDonna Holmans of Muleshoe; granddaughters, Michele and husband Dan Jackson of Meadow, Texas, and Kristin and husband Jeff McCool of Hobbs, New Mexico; great granddaughters, Kylee Jackson, Emma Jackson, and Teagan McCool; great grandsons, Mark, Brevin, and Conlin McCool; brother, Jimmy and wife Sylvia Ward of San Antonio; and by several nieces and nephews. Jonell was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Annie Lee and George McCallum.
