Johnny Ray Mccormick

Johnny Ray McCormick, 52, of Stephenville, died Friday, August 30, 2013 in San Angelo. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Monday evening at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Gregory Hamilton officiating, and visitation (after funeral service) will continue until 8:00 PM. Cremation will follow. Johnny Ray was born on November 15, 1960 in Dallas to John Mack and Gaynell Truss McCormick. He graduated from Slaton High School in 1979, and has lived several years in Stephenville. Johnny Ray was a truck driver. Survivors include his daughters, Baillie Shean and Brandi Ann McCormick both of Borger; son, Chance Dalton Shaffer of South Dakota; mother, Gaynell McCormick of Stephenville; sisters, Lynne and husband Rickey Hamilton of Stephenville, Melba and husband Ray Montague of Clovis, New Mexico, and Connie McCormick of Stephenville; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Mack McCormick, July 29, 2004.
