John Earl Sutton Sr.

John Earl Sutton, Sr., 76, of Stephenville, passed Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM, Wednesday, December 17th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Buddy Wells officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, at Stephenville Funeral Home John was born on July 31, 1938 in Fort Worth to the late Guy E. and Mandy Elledge Sutton. He married Jimmie Lincoln on February 16, 1963 in Fort Worth. John served his country in the Navy. Later, he worked at Home Depot and Safeway for many years. John was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephenville. John is survived by his wife, Jimmie; son, John Earl Sutton, Jr., Ret. USN and wife Brenda; daughters, Theresa Burnett and husband Jason, Michelle Gall; son, Marc Sutton and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Jackson Sutton, Graham Sutton, Amanda Townsend and husband James, Courtney Chartier, Myles Burnett, Hayden Burnett, Brandon Gall, Kristin Gall, Vicki Sutton, Maddison Sutton; great-grandchildren, Danica Ulibarri, Dominic Ulibarri, Makenzie Townsend, Mason Townsend, Jemma Townsend, Chandler Parsons; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, John was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rayburn Sutton and Raymond Sutton; and his great-grandson, Corbin Ulibarri.
