Stephenville John Royal Lancaster John Royal Lancaster, 66 of Stephenvile, passed away at his home on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, after a yearly battle of lung cancer. Cremation is being held under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. John Royal Lancaster was born on July 16, 1948 to Delt and Syble Lancaster while living in Tracy, CA. His survivors include his life-long companion of 28 yrs Beverly Yates, his daughter Jeanice Padilla and grandson Joel Padilla both of Brownwood, a sister Syble (Bernie) Kanady and husband Gilbert of Baird, half-brother Raymond Threet and wife Joan of Cisco, a half-sister Dorthy Hermansson and husband Johan of Sweden. Several nieces and nephews and cousins in the Rising Star and May area. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-sister Betty Maddox.
