John L. Gardner

John L. Gardner, 73, of Austin, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Austin. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 26th at West End Cemetery in Stephenville with Rev. Sid Hall officiating. Visitation will be held at 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Austin State School in Austin. John was born on December 1, 1938 in Stephenville to the late James E. and Bennie Williamson Gardner. He grew up in Stephenville, and has spent the last 20 years of his life in Austin. Survivors include his brother, James E. Gardner; nephews, Jimmy Gardner and John H. Gardner; and a niece, Gretchen Lea Gardner all of Austin.
