John Christie

John Christie, 55, of Dublin, died Thursday, October 16th in Dublin. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 18th at Hannibal Cemetery, Erath County, with Mike Hannah officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. John was born on August 18, 1959 in Odessa, Texas to Donald and Leona Deaton Christie. He married Dora Vowell on November 29, 1996 in Dublin. John spent many years as a custodian in the school district, was a member of the Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Erath County. John is survived by his wife, Dora; father, Donald Christie; and brother, Randy Christie and wife Anita. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Christie.
