John Joseph Buihner, age 63, of Stephenville, Texas, passed away on June 6, 2021.

A memorial service will be held on July, 31, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Stephenville Funeral Home.

John was born on October 19, 1957, in Hahn, Germany, the son of Norman and Mary Buihner. He was the youngest of 6 children. He was a 1975 high school graduate of John Jay High School in San Antonio, Texas.

He went to work for Owens Tower Company based in Stephenville that same year and worked there for almost 25 years until the company closed in 1998. He then went to work for Deerfield Construction in Chicago, Illinois for a number of years and later retired in Stephenville , Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Eugene Buihner and Mary Katheryn Senechal Buihner; his brothers Robert Eugene Buihner and Thomas Charles Buihner; his brother in law, Marvin Lee Owens and his niece Tama Owens Featherston.

John is survived by his two children. His daughter, Valarie Elizabeth Buihner and son in law ,Travis Senogles of Hunt, Texas. His son, Philllip Ross Buihner and daughter in law Megan Buihner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his three grandchildren, Ayden Senogles, Julian Senogles and Arden Buihner. His sisters, Carolyn Buihner Owens of Stephenville, Texas; and Karen Rae Duncan and brother in law, Ronnie Duncan of Pouqson, Virginia; and brother, Jim Buihner of Woodway, Texas; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and many friends he considered family.
