Joe Ann (Koger) Tate

Joe Ann Tate December 13, 1931 ~ January 30, 2017 Joe Ann Tate, 85, of Stephenville, passed away, Monday, January 30, 2017 in Rowlett. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Parker officiating. Interment will follow at the Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Joe Ann was born on December 13, 1931 in Caddo Mills, Texas to the late Pat and Bammie Winters Koger. She married the love of her life W.H.'Bill' Tate on December 31, 1954 in Dallas, Texas and together they raised a daughter. Bill preceded her in death on December 7, 1999. Joe Ann worked for Stephenville I.S.D. for 30 years in the High School Office. She has resided in Stephenville since 1965, and was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ. She was survived by her daughter, Lisa Livingston of Rowlett; a sister, Dorothy Thompson of Dallas; many nieces, nephews, and her church family.
