Joe Kiker

Joe Kiker May 13, 1939-September 23, 2016 Joe Kiker, 77, of Morgan Mill, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, September 23, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 28th at Fall Creek Cemetery in Acton in Hood County, Texas with Reverend Christy Barto officiating. Services are under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Joe was born on May 13, 1939 in Fort Worth to the late Woodrow Wilson and Lourene Henslee Kiker. He married Mary Joyce Flanigan on December 23, 1959 in Oklahoma. Joe graduated from Handley High School, and attended Texas Tech University and University of Texas Arlington. He was a planner with Vought Aircraft for over 20 years. He loved woodworking and tending his livestock. Joe and Mary have spent the last 30 years in Morgan Mill. Joe is survived by his wife, Mary; and son, Trent and wife Deanna Kiker of Cleburne. Beside his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Ray Kiker. The Kiker family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Erath County Humane Society.
