Joanna Lee (Ward) Beauregard

Joanna Lee Beauregard October 2, 1927 - July 4, 2018 Joanna Lee Beauregard, 90, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 12th at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ed Dittfurth officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Joanna was born on October2, 1927, in Yale, Oklahoma to the late Claud A. and Doloris M. Dunbar Ward. She married Berline Warner ‘Beau' Beauregard on January 14, 1946 in Ville Platte, Louisiana. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2010. Joanna spent most of her early years growing up in Oklahoma and later in Indiana. She met her husband, Beau, when she moved to Louisiana with her family her senior year of High School. They lived and raised their family in Pecos Texas, until 1976 when they moved to Iota, Louisiana. They then moved to Stephenville, Texas in 1992. She was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God, and spent many years as a teacher. Joanna, later in life with her husband, loved to travel. They spent many years with mission groups such as, Campers on Mission, and the RVers; working to build churches. Joanna is survived by her sons Ray Beauregard and wife Mica of Paoli, Indiana, Steve Beauregard and wife Robin of Lometa, and Mark Beauregard and wife Trish of Glen Rose; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, and husband, Beau; Joanna was also preceded in death by sisters, Donna Sloan and Jackie Draper.
