Joann Howell Walker Williamson

JoAnn Howell Walker Williamson, 79, of Stephenville died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, at the Proctor Baptist Church in Proctor with Weldon Branham and Bryce Vandiver officiating. Burial will follow at Proctor Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 PM to 8 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. JoAnn was born July 30, 1932 in Walnut Springs to the late Burne and Lera Flippin Howell. She married Boyd Lee Walker on February 24, 1950 in Proctor. He preceded her in death April 27, 1963. She married Lee Williamson on December 31, 1968 in Stephenville. JoAnn was a member of the Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. She grew up in Proctor, lived six years in Cleburne, and moved to Stephenville in 1963. She is survived by her husband, Lee; daughters, Cindy Golliday of Cleburne, Rhonda and husband Ricky Camacho of Weatherford, and Genia and husband Bryce Vandiver of Weatherford; sister, Vera and husband Dale Allen of Stephenville; granddaughters, Amber Golliday and Allyson Vandiver; grandsons, Phillip and Jarod Vandiver; two great grandsons, Justin and Garrett Golliday; two nieces and one nephew. JoAnn was also preceded in death by a son, Bruce Walker; and grandsons, John Tracy Golliday, Daniel Selman, and Samuel Vandiver. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Proctor Cemetery Assn, or to the Proctor Baptist Church.
