Joann Francis Cunningham

JoAnn Cunningham, 77, of Stephenville, passed away Friday, January 15, 2010 in Granbury. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Curt Plaxco officiating. Interment will follow at the East Memorial Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm before the service Tuesday. JoAnn Francis Barnes Cunningham was born on February 10, 1932 in El Paso, Texas. She was the oldest daughter of Cyril and Eva Barnes. She had one younger sister Patricia Barnes. JoAnn spent most of her early years in Clark Ridge, Arkansas with her grandparents, Christopher and Renier Davis. At about 16 years of age she went to live with her mother in El Paso and has resided in Stephenville since 1977. JoAnn's family was the most important thing to her. She was the happiest when she knew her family was coming to see her. JoAnn is survived by her children, Carol Woodward of Virginia, Paul Cunningham of Arkansas, Christopher Cunningham of Texas, Sharon Towe of Morgan Mill, Cynthia Pippert of Jacksboro, Jo Towe of Dublin, Ollie Cunningham of Stephenville, and Elizabeth Arndt of Springboro, Ohio; she is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul in 1956; and her second husband, Dallas in 1991.
